Canada approves lethal weapons supply to Ukraine

Canada has introduced Ukraine into the list of countries to whom it is allowed to sell Canadian automatic weapons. The corresponding information was published on December 13 by the Canada Gazette, which is the official publication of the Canadian government.
"The list of countries to whom it is allowed to sell lethal weapons is changing in connection with the addition of Ukraine in alphabetical order," the statement said. "The amendments come into force on the day of its registration [December 13, 2017]."
The document notes that applications for the import or export of goods, according to national legislation, are considered by the Government of Canada on a case-by-case basis in accordance with Canadian international and defense policies. At present, this list includes 39 countries, most of whom are members of NATO.

Earlier it was reported that Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau after the meeting with President of Ukraine Pyotr Poroshenko did not exclude supplies of lethal weapons to Kiev. Since 2015, within the Unifier operation in Ukraine there are about 200 instructors from Canada. They are training soldiers and officers of the Ukrainian army.

US Air Force backing ISIS opens warning fire on Russia's aircraft in Syria

Updated: 7:15pm GMT - the event occurred Wednesday Dec. 13th. - Retraction and edit: at 6:30pm GMT we reported the news as 'Breaking', wrongly.

Fort Russ
December 14, 2017 - FRN -
- by Inessa Sinchougova & Joaquin Flores, for FRN -
Two American F-22 fighters were scrambled to intercept Russian Su-25 aircraft in the sky over Syria. Pilots of the US Air Force were allegedly 'forced to open a warning fire', according to the fake news site, CNN.

The source to CNN said that Russian planes had left the agreed flight zone, which was previously created to avoid incidents, in the deconfliction talks between Lavrov and Kerry in 2015. According to the fake news report from CNN, after several violations of the line of demarcation, the American F-22 fired several warning shots, after which the Su-25 left the area.

Framing the story back to reality, the Russian defense department confirmed the warning fire by American aircraft, but they stated the incident realistically - according to the Ministry's version, the F-22 simulated an air confrontation and prevented the Russian military reconnaissance aircraft from destroying a stronghold of  ISIS terrorists, and disappeared after the appearance of the Su-35.

This comes only two days after Russia announced that it would be pulling  part of its ground forces from Syria, for reasons relating to information war and simulated, headline-driven, diplomacy.

This incident is an escalation, now involving live fire, of a similar, nearly identical incident on December 9th, 2017 (5 days ago) in which:

"An American F-22 fighter actively prevented the Russian pair of Su-25 attack aircraft from carrying out a combat mission to destroy the Daesh stronghold in the suburbs of the city of Mayadin in the airspace over the western bank of the Euphrates River on November 23. The F-22 aircraft fired off heat flares and released brake shields with permanent maneuvering, imitating an air battle,".

The Russian Federation appears to be continuing to build its case that it is the United States Air Force, or rogue elements within the US or external to it, are acting de-facto as the airforce for ISIS. Both the Mossad and the CIA, for example are known to have special-ops planes painted as US planes - false flags - in violation of Geneva Accords. A goal of a possible false flag operation, either from within the US or external to it, would be to increase tensions, even outright 'hot war' hostilities, between the two nuclear superpowers.

The Russian Federation is acting in Syria, legally, under international law - by invitation from the UN recognized and democratically elected, sovereign government in Syria. The US acts by virtue of its ability to act, contrary to international norms, in an attempt to reshape said norms.

The outcome of deconfliction talks were agreed to by Lavrov and Kerry, which gives the US a highly limited area of activity, in which they claim to be attacking ISIS. Russia has publicly been building a case that the US Air-force has been acting not as a force against ISIS, but rather are dropping supplies to ISIS and acting as its air cover. The last two incidents seem to confirm the Russian position.

US rep to UN shows ‘evidence’ of Iran’s missile in Yemen, promises coalition against Tehran

US rep to UN shows ‘evidence’ of Iran’s missile in Yemen, promises coalition against Tehran
US ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley has described Iran as a “global threat” in a news conference outlining evidence of the nation’s “destabilizing behavior” in the Middle East.
Under the current administration the US attitude towards Iran has hardened. Earlier this year, President Donald Trump claimed that a 2015 financial deal intended to limit Iran’s nuclear program has helped the nation fund terrorism.

Speaking about the new strategy on Iran, ambassador Nikki Haley indicated US agencies and their international partners are currently scrutinizing Iran’s ballistic missiles program, arms exports and “its support for terrorists, proxy fighters and dictators.”

Under the 2015 UN resolution on Iran’s nuclear program, the supply, sale or transfer of ballistic missiles from the country must be approved by the UN security council on a case-by-case basis.
Standing in front of a partially incinerated missile shell purported to have been fired into Saudi Arabia from Yemen, Haley told reporters at a Washington military base that illegal Iranian weapons are spreading throughout the Middle East.

“Our new strategy was prompted by the undeniable fact that the Iranian regime’s behavior is growing worse. The nuclear deal has done nothing to moderate the regime’s conduct in other areas.”

Haley said the US will attempt to build a international coalition to “push back” against Iran.
She said missiles from Iran have been found in war zones across the Middle East.

“It’s hard to find a conflict or a terrorist group in the Middle East that does not have Iran’s fingerprints all over it.”

The Iran government has stated that the country’s weapons program is for defense purposes. The US envoy presented remains of a missile found in Saudi Arabia as proof of Iranian enabled attacks against US allies in the Middle East. Haley said the missile’s intended target was a civilian airport in Riyadh.

Weapon parts from a “kamikaze drone” and a boat fitted with a warhead were also mentioned as evidence of Iran backed aggression in the region. A date or location for when this weaponry was found was not announced by Haley.

The Government of Islamic Republic of Iran has since released a statement describing the evidence as “fabricated,” report Reuters.

Saudi Arabia has welcomed the US stance and called for "immediate measures" to ensure the 2015 UN resolution is adhered to.

Claims that Iran has misused its weaponry comes as a new study reveals arms manufactured in Europe, China, and Russia inadvertently fueled Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) arsenals between 2014-2017.

According to the Conflict Armament Research report, the US and Saudi Arabia were the biggest culprits in transferring such arms to regions where they subsequently fell into the hands of ISIS-linked groups.

“The United States and Saudi Arabia supplied most of this material without authorisation, apparently to Syrian opposition forces,” the report states.

Putin To Launch ‘Independent Internet’ Without ‘New World Order Censorship’

Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced that Russia is launching a new ‘independent Internet’ that will be free from the shackles of the New World Order.

Putin and the Security Council are developing the new Internet initially for BRICS nations, which will be totally independent of global elite corporations and governments and will continue to work in the event of global internet outages.

The new initiative was brought forward at the October meeting of the Security Council, with Putin setting a deadline of August 1, 2018.

It is believed the new independent Internet will be free from censorship, with the likes of Google and Facebook barred from monopolising key functions such as search results and social media communications. reports: While discussing the issue, members of the council noted that “the increased capabilities of western nations to conduct offensive operations in the informational space as well as the increased readiness to exercise these capabilities pose a serious threat to Russia’s security.”

They decided that the problem should be addressed by creating a separate backup system of Domain Name Servers (DNS), which would not be subject to control by international organizations. This system would be used by countries of the BRICS bloc – Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.

The issue of excessive dependency on global DNS has previously been addressed by Russia. In 2014, the Russian Communications Ministry conducted a major exercise in which it simulated the “switching off” of global internet services and used a Russian backup system to successfully support web operations inside the country.

However, when reporters asked Vladimir Putin’s Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov if the country’s authorities had been considering disconnecting from the global internet in 2014,Peskov dismissed these allegations as false.

“Russia’s disconnection from the global internet is of course out of the question,” Peskov told the Interfax news agency. However, the official also emphasized that “recently, a fair share of unpredictability is present in the actions of our partners both in the US and the EU, and we [Russia] must be prepared for any turn of events.”

Jens Stoltenberg's greatest hits, as NATO extends his gaffe-riddled reign

Jens Stoltenberg's greatest hits, as NATO extends his gaffe-riddled reign
NATO’s Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg has been given another two years at the helm of the world’s most offensive defensive alliance. NATO said in a statement Tuesday that the 29 allies had decided to prolong Stoltenberg’s term until September 30, 2020.
The former Norwegian prime minister has served as NATO’s Secretary-General since October 2014 – and he already has so much to be proud of. Here are just a few of Jens’ greatest NATO hits.

Stoltenberg does damage control after NATO exercises mistakenly target a member state

Stoltenberg attempted to salvage NATO’s already precarious relationship with member state Turkey in November, after a Trident Javelin exercise in Norway depicted Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on an “enemies chart.” During the computer-assisted exercise, Turkish founding father Mustafa Kemal Ataturk was shown in a “hostile leader list.” Erdogan’s name and portrait were also used during a simulated “enemy collaborator” chat from the same exercise. Outraged by the slight from its own allies, Turkey withdrew 40 troops from the exercises.

"Yesterday, you have witnessed the impudence at NATO exercises in Norway. There are some mistakes that cannot be committed by fools but only by vile people,” Erdogan said in a televised speech after the screw-up became public. He added that the incident shows “a reflection of a distorted point of view that we have observed in NATO for a while."

NATO apologized for the incident, which it blamed on a Norwegian civilian contractor. In a statement, Stoltenberg stressed that the contractor’s actions did not represent NATO’s values. Similar statements came from Norway’s Defense Ministry.

Stoltenberg says blatant mission creep in Libya was part of UN-sanctioned mandate

In a May interview, Stoltenberg insisted that NATO’s bombardment of Libya in 2011 “protected civilians” and was part of a “clear UN mandate.”
Then-Secretary General Anders Rasmussen explained NATO’s mandate in very clear terms in March 2011, stating that NATO would accept responsibility for “enforcing the No-Fly Zone with the aim to protect the civilian population, and the mandate doesn't go beyond that.” He added: “Of course we can act in self-defense, but what we will do is to enforce the No-Fly Zone and ensure that we protect the civilian population.”
The problem is that NATO (and a coalition of Arab states that wanted to depose Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi) did far, far more than just enforce a no-fly zone and “protect” civilians. As CNN reported in August 2011,
“Special forces troops from Britain, France, Jordan and Qatar on the ground in Libya have stepped up operations in Tripoli and other cities in recent days to help rebel forces as they conducted their final advance on the [Gaddafi] regime, a NATO official confirmed to CNN Wednesday.”

The British press was even less timid about publicizing NATO’s extra-curricular activities in Libya. In January 2012, the BBC reported on the “inside story of the UK's secret mission to beat Gaddafi.” The story begins by boasting that “British efforts to help topple Colonel Gaddafi were not limited to air strikes. On the ground – and on the quiet – special forces soldiers were blending in with rebel fighters. This is the previously untold account of the crucial part they played.”

As for NATO “protecting” Libyan civilians, how would Stoltenberg know? NATO never took a particular interest in discovering who was killed in its airstrikes. Right up until the end of its Libya campaign, NATO insisted that there were no “confirmed” cases of the alliance killing civilians. The reason for this was very simple: As the New York Times reported in December 2011,
“the alliance had created its own definition for ‘confirmed’: only a death that NATO itself investigated and corroborated could be called confirmed. But because the alliance declined to investigate allegations, its casualty tally by definition could not budge — from zero.”

Stoltenberg really upset about deadly explosion in Serbian city bombed by NATO

After an explosion in February left at least one person dead at Serbia’s Kragujevac Military Facility, Stoltenberg sent his deepest and most sincere condolences to the people of Serbia:

“I am saddened to hear of the explosions … My thoughts and deep sympathy are with all those affected and with the Serbian people,” Stoltenberg said in a statement. “As the Serbian authorities are working to establish the facts of this tragedy, I want to convey NATO's solidarity at this difficult time. Serbia is NATO's neighbor and a valued partner,” he added.

Stoltenberg tiptoed around the rather prickly fact that NATO had bombed Kragujevac in 1999. A BBC report from March 24, 1999 notes that NATO strikes included “hits against the Zastava weapons plant in Kragujevac.”

It’s unclear whether NATO has ever apologized for those series of explosions.

Stoltenberg announces NATO-Russia meeting – but forgets to consult with Moscow

Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov was surprised to learn that he would be attending a meeting with Stoltenberg – without first being consulted.

In May 2016, NATO announced that it would hold formal talks with Russia before the alliance convened for its Warsaw summit in July. But Moscow was never consulted about any such meeting.
“Why on earth did he say that? The Russia-NATO council works on the basis of consensus,” Interfax cited Lavrov as saying, expressing Moscow’s “bewilderment.”

Stoltenberg says NATO reserves the right to bomb anyone suspected of “cyberattacks”

As Secretary General, one of Stoltenberg’s key tasks is to justify why NATO members need to spend mammoth sums on American weapons – and Jens excels at identifying potential reasons to bring those guns to bear.

Hackers could be one such reason, he told Germany’s Bild newspaper in June 2016.
“A severe cyberattack may be classified as a case for the alliance. Then NATO can and must react,” the newspaper quoted Stoltenberg as saying.

Setting aside some of the more obvious and distressing implications of this policy, what exactly would happen if a nation wrongly accused of hacking America’s power grid was NATO-bombed in retaliation?

Stoltenberg tries to sing

And finally: A video of Stoltenberg singing “We are the world” with his NATO buddies.

Here’s to two more years!

Two civilians wounded in DPR, more than 30 houses damaged in Ukrainian shelling [Video]

As the year is ending, the Ukrainian army is shelling more and more the residential areas, targeting civilians and infrastructures. Yesterday, during daytime, the AFU shelled with IFVs and other weapons the village of Dokuchaevsk, thus damaging more than 30 houses, and injuring two civilians.
Almost all the houses affected, were located in two areas in the North of the locality (see picture below).

One of the houses, located in the Rabochnaya street, was completely crossed by a BMP ammunition, which get through a first wall, a door, and finally stopped in the second wall, just near the sofa where the woman living here is frequently sitting or sleeping.

Hopefully the woman was not in the divan when the shelling occurred, which saved her. The ammunition was still visible on site. The path of the ammunition through the house clearly indicates an origin on the positions of the Ukrainian army located at the West of Dokuchaevsk.

The civilians we interviewed told us that the OSCE did not come to record the damages and facts of shelling of the locality. More than 30 houses damaged and obvious proofs of the origin of the shelling. What does the OSCE need in addition to do its job?

Leaked Documents: Israeli Doctors Conducted Medical Experiments On 300 Missing Palestinian Children

Tel Aviv (GPA) –Some leaked documents and doctor testimonies shows that Israeli doctors conducted unauthorized medical procedures – some racially-charged– on 300 missing Palestinian children.Experiments included fatal protein treatments, DNA testing for African blood, and heart disease.

During last 2 years, some Palestinian  families have reported that their children went missing. Most stories involve the children being admitted for routine medical care and then supposedly dying shortly afterwords. At least, that’s how the official story goes.

Israeli news agency tps has  published an exclusive report including doctor testimonies proving Israeli doctors carried out unauthorized  medical experiments on these missing children. The report confirms that at least 28 children died as a direct result of these experiments.

US Surgeon, Who Exposed Clinton Foundation Corruption In Haiti, Found Dead

Dr. Dean Lorich, an orthopedic surgeon who volunteered in Haiti and exposed Clinton Foundation corruption and malpractice on the island, has been found dead in New York.
Dr. Dean Lorich, an orthopedic surgeon who volunteered in Haiti and exposed Clinton Foundation corruption and malpractice on the island, has been found dead in New York. He was 54.

Dr. Lorich was found by his 11-year-old daughter on the bathroom floor of his tony Upper East Side apartment with a knife in his chest at around 1pm on Monday.
The knife missed the surgeon’s heart, leaving him to bleed out and be found by his daughter. Despite the fact police were called to the property regarding an “assault“, they instantly registered the death as “suicide” and closed the case.

One of the United States’ leading surgeons, Dr. Lorich was part of the relief effort sent by the U.S. to assist the relief effort led by the Clinton Foundation in Haiti after the devastating 2010 earthquake. However Dr. Lorich was disgusted by the “shameful” Clinton Foundation operation, and voiced his concerns to Hillary Clinton directly.
CNN article co-authored by Dr. Lorich exposing the extent of Clinton Foundation
malpractice and corruption in Haiti.
Unsatisfied with her response, he went public, writing an article published by CNN, accusing the Clinton Foundation of widespread corruption and malpractice in Haiti that cost the lives of thousands of children.
Billions of dollars were raised by the Clinton Foundation to help the Haitians, but the vast bulk of this money was funneled to Clinton friends and associates, according to Dr. Lorich, who described in harrowing detail what this meant for the children of Haiti.

Dr. Lorich argued that, in essence, Clinton greed left Haitian children to die painful deaths:

We expected many amputations. But we thought we could save limbs that were salvageable, particularly those of children. We recognized that in an underdeveloped country, a limb amputation may be a death sentence. It does not have to be so.

Considering billions of dollars had been donated to the Clinton Foundation with the express purpose of helping the Haitians, Dr Lorich and his team expected to have full support when their plane touched down.

Instead, Dr. Lorich described the situation on the ground as “shameful” and he witnessed Clinton Foundation corruption in action. The Haitians were receiving no help whatsoever.

According to Dr. Lorich, a paltry 0.6% of donations granted by international donors to the Clinton Foundation with the express purpose of directly assisting Haitians actually ended up helping citizens of Haiti. 9.6% ended up with the Haitian government. The remaining 89.8%  – or $5.4 billion – was funneled to non-Haitian organizations.

Dr. Lorich’s WikiLeaks emails

Unable to perform his duties – and disgusted by the rampant corruption – Dr. Lorich sent an email to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s Chief of Staff Cheryl D. Mills to report what he had seen. The email was then forwarded to Hillary Clinton which meant it eventually found its way into WikiLeaks’ possession and can be read here.
Dr. Dean Lorich on the ground in Haiti where he was disgusted to witness Clinton Foundation corruption first hand.
Unsatisfied with the lack of response from Hillary Clinton, Dr. Lorich went public, co-authored the CNN article that exposed the Clinton Foundation’s corruption and malpractice in Haiti:

We found scores of patients with pus dripping out of open extremity fractures and crush injuries,” reported Dr. Lorich.

Some wounds were already ridden with maggots.
About a third of these victims were children.
The entire hospital smelled of infected, rotting limbs and death.
Later on, we would judge our surgical progress by the diminishment of the stench.”
As we got up and running and organized the patients for surgery, we told our contacts in the United States [the Clintons] what we needed.

Unfortunately the Clinton Foundation did not provide that help, despite pocketing billions of dollars from donors with the express purpose of providing medical support to desperate Haitians.
We left feeling as if we abandoned these patients, the country, and its people, and we feel terrible,” Dr. Lorich wrote, adding: “Our flight of critical medical equipment and personnel had been canceled.

The father of three girls, Dr. Lorich was the associate director of the Orthopedic Trauma Service at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, as well as the Chief of the Orthopedic Trauma Service at New York Presbyterian Hospital.

TUE's - Meet this Skier from Norway, taking a stand against Russian doping

Fort Russ
December 10th, 2017 - Fort Russ News -
- By Joaquin Flores, for FRN - Support Flores' Patreon, please!
Meet Norwegian Skier Marit Bjorgen. Since 2009, she has been authorized under the western sanctioned TUE program, in which the US controlled IOC and WADA allows NATO countries and allies, to take steroids for asthma, for example.

Of course, these are steroids beyond Clenbuterol and more commonly Albuterol, which certainly are excellent fat reduction and muscle preservation agents. The use of these, however, would eliminate any Russian athlete for 'doping'.
No signs of doping, move along.

But Clenbuterol and Albuterol are among common steroids prescribed for Asthma. A person with a more severe case of Asthma than Clenbuterol, for example, could help with, would be using such to barely 'get by'. So this raises some questions.

What are TUE's? Last week, we reported on this 'one magic loophole' that allows NATO allied athletes to dope, legally:

There are few crimes in sports greater than doping without a license. Hopefully the IOC's moves will teach Russia an important lesson about allowing their athletes to dope without a license, the sorts only given to NATO and friends' athletes.

To be an Olympic skier with crippling asthma that even the potent Clenbuterol can't handle, and are forced to use steroids with the 'undersirable' and purely innocent, unplanned side effect of massive muscle development and pronounced virilization of the face, vascularization, and a body fat percentage hovering around 10%, would seem to disqualify one not just from the Olympics, but any strenuous activity, especially in long bursts.
No doping here either, stop staring.
Clenbuterol is known to cause muscle growth in other mammals with more pronounced Beta-3 receptors, which human beings generally lack. Clenbuterol acts upon Beta-2 receptors in humans to hold onto muscle mass, while engaged in fat reduction. It does so by telling the body to metabolize fat before muscle, when in a caloric deficit. It is popular for body builders in their cutting phase, even though it is universally not associated with mass building. But Clenbuterol is the closest thing for a steroid for asthma, which is known to have a side effect relating to muscle growth or retention in some way.

Other steroids for asthma are Beclomethasone, Budesonide, Budesonide/Formoterol, Fluticasone, Salmeterol, Mometason, Mometasone, and formoterol. None of these are associated with muscle growth, let alone massive muscle growth and trans-gender therapy approaching levels of virilization.

These are not associated with muscle growth for several reasons, but among them is that they are inhaled to the lungs instead of injected into the body. What happens when they, or a designer derivative, is injected into the body, is not known to this author.

The science of hiding doping is such that derivatives of these steroids may test as being in fact those TUE approved steroids, when rather there is a slight molecular change to these, which gives a different effect such as robust muscle growth. It boils down to plausible deniability, and politics.

What also could be the case is that something is being used on the athletes that is a slightly altered from a family of known muscle building steroids, such as Deca Durabolin (Nandrolone Decanoate), and is 'designed' to be overshadowed or cloaked by the presence of one of the above 'sanctioned' steroids (which non-NATO athletes are nevertheless barred from using).

Marit says she is absolutely against Russian athletes at the Olympics who use steroids.

She has spoken prolifically and eloquently that the dignity of the Olympics must be preserved from Russian athletes attempting to 'cheat the system' by doping ... without a license.

Clearly the world needs more role models willing to stand up to the hypocrisy of the modern world, and against Russian tyranny, as Marit Bjorgen does.

What motivates Bjorgen's crusade, as she shows children around the world with asthma, that they too don't have to let go of their dreams, despite their crippling ailment?

Never again! In 2005/2006 Bjørgen finished the distance standings in fourth place, 108 points behind Russia's Julija Tchepalova.

After this humiliating defeat to a clearly juiced, doped, and roid-ridden machine like Tchepalova (sarcasm alert), see photo below, Bjørgen swore to close the gap and train full natty + some unrelated asthma medication - so that Ivan Drago inspired human roid monsters who are clearly connected to Russia, would never win again.
Clearly juiced, Russian doping athlete, Julija Tchepalova
Russian athletes should know that if a connection with Russia can be established, they will be barred from the games. That's why Russian athletes will indeed be allowed to compete, if they disavow ties with the Russian state and team - which is actually, no sarcasm - what the shocking and 'not in the least hypocritical', IOC announcement last week in fact stipulates.

U.S. soldier dies in Lviv, probably from heart attack

An American soldier on temporary duty at the Yavoriv combat training center has suddenly died (presumably from a heart attack) in Lviv, Lviv Regional Administration's civil defense department has said.

"Lviv's emergency center received a message at 11:28 on December 10, 2017, that a 21-year-old American soldier had died on Lemkivska Street presumably from a heart attack. The soldier was on temporary duty to the Yavoriv training center," the message said.

The department said the man had died before emergency medical workers arrived on the scene. The corpse was taken to the region's medical forensic morgue.

Fred Johs:
And maybe the terror state USA can explain why there's soldiers are in Lviv - (the Nazi capital) where all their kids are in nazi summercamps learning to shoot, and that have theirs streets named after german nazis?
It's bad enough that the terrorstate USA did finance and orchestered the Maidan in capital city Kyiv and the following well planed state coup with McCain standing in the windows from the US Embassy together with the Embassador looking at the shooting and smiling...

Just hope that many more american nazi supporters end up in bags too.

Bombshell: "The cult of the USA is based on myths and historical lies" - State Duma Vice Speaker

Fort Russ
December 10, 2017 - FRN -
"The cult of the United States is created through myths and hypertrophied lies about the alleged historical merits and victories of the country", Irina Yarovaya said, the vice speaker of the State Duma, commenting on the statement of US President Donald Trump about the US victory in two world wars.

Trump, speaking in front of supporters in Florida, said that the United States is a nation that "won two world wars and put communism on its knees".

"Inside the United States," brainwashing "works through the education system, the cult of the United States is created through myths and hypertrophied lies about supposedly historical achievements and victories, especially eloquently and cynically this manifests itself into a fraud about the US victory in World War II," Yarovoya said.

The parliamentarian stressed that the victory of the Russian people over fascism is a historical fact. "Truthful knowledge" is important to prevent "the manic ambitions of world domination of the US and the desire for profit at all costs, which can become an irreparable tragedy for the whole world," - she concluded.

Alt-history? Trump claims US won two World Wars & defeated communism

Alt-history? Trump claims US won two World Wars & defeated communism
Donald Trump has delivered his own reading of history that is likely to raise eyebrows in Russia, China, Europe, and beyond. The tycoon-turned-president claimed the US has single-handedly won two world wars and “brought communism to its knees.”
Trump appeared at a rally in Pensacola, Florida to voice his support for the Republican nominee Roy Moore, who is running for the Senate in Alabama. At first, he reprised the themes popular with his supporters, including illegal immigration, criminal gangs, and mainstream media.

The President was about 70 minutes into his appearance at the rally when he made the following remark: “We are the nation that dug out the Panama Canal, won two world wars, put a man on the moon and brought communism to its knees,” Trump proclaimed to a cheering crowd in front of ‘Merry Christmas’ signs.

The crowd seemed unfazed by the mix of historic events with outrageous claims, cheering loudly when Trump added: “As long as we have the courage of our convictions, and the strength to see them through, then there is no goal beyond our reach.”

Unluckily for Trump, who regularly lambasts media for publishing fake news, his own take on world history does not quite agree with what really happened. The US entered World War I in 1917, just one year before it ended. Washington began sending fresh troops to Europe, claiming some significant victories over the Germans, but mainly because they were unable to replace their losses or provide enough arms, munitions and food supplies for their troops.
"We are the nation that dug out the Panama Canal, won two world wars, put a man on the moon, and brought communism to its knees."
During his “Make America Great Again” rally in Florida, President Donald J. Trump offered this assurance to the American people.

For over three years, it was mostly Britain, France and the Russian Empire who bore the brunt of war. The allies engaged in several crucial battles against the German and Austro-Hungarian Empires, including the Battle of Verdun and the Battle of the Somme. Fierce fighting and heavy losses took their toll on the allies; the Russian Empire collapsed, while France and Britain had to deal with ruined economies, galloping inflation and social unrest.

In World War II, the US focused on fighting the Japanese Empire, its most dangerous enemy in the Pacific. Although the US declared war on Nazi Germany in 1941, in practice it sent military support to the British and the Soviets, delaying direct involvement in hostilities until 1944. By the time of the D-Day landings, the Red Army had already driven the Nazis out of Russia and the east of Europe, bringing the frontline closer to Berlin. Soviet troops captured the Third Reich’s capital in May 1945, forcing Hitler’s generals to surrender.

In a speech to the House of Commons in August 1944, Winston Churchill famously observed: “It is the Russian armies who have done the main work in tearing the guts out of the German army.”

Meanwhile, Trump’s remark on defeating communism may not sit well with several Asian nations, which are coincidentally trade partners of the US in the region, notably China and Vietnam. The Communist Party of China, ruling over world’s most populous nation, may have a question or two about the alleged “defeat.”

Pakistan Russia to ink multi billion dollars deal ignoring US pressure

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Russia have reached an understanding to sign a multi-billion dollar offshore gas pipeline deal in a couple of weeks, ignoring pressure from the United States that has fiercely opposed the building of Iran-Pakistan (IP) gas pipeline for years.
The two sides reached an agreement during the recent visit of Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi to Moscow.
The two sides were expected to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the premier’s visit, however, it did not happen due to certain reasons, officials told The Express Tribune. Now, Islamabad and Moscow are set to sign the deal in a couple of weeks.
Russia, which controls and manages huge gas reserves in energy-rich Iran, plans to export gas to Pakistan and India by laying an offshore pipeline. This move comes as an alternative, amid Moscow’s fears of losing energy markets in Europe following a long tussle with the United States and the European Union over the annexation of Ukrainian region of Crimea.
Following Donald Trump’s South Asia Policy on Afghanistan – where it wanted to give a role to India in this region, a proposal Pakistan rejected – Pakistan-US relations are at a critical point. Such massive business deals would open a new avenue for diplomatic relations between Russia and Pakistan, said a senior government official.
Official said that after signing of the MoU, work on feasibility would be started to know the viability of the project. Russia is even ready to finance the feasibility study on viability of the offshore pipeline.
The official pointed out that the US knew about the gas reserves held by Russia in Iran, which was the reason why Washington opposed the IP gas pipeline. The IP project will open an avenue for Russia to lay a parallel pipeline for gas export to Pakistan and India.
The official revealed that India was also interested in purchasing gas from Russia through the offshore pipeline from Iran via Gwadar, believing it was a safe way for energy import.
Earlier, India was part of the IP gas pipeline, but after entering into a civil nuclear deal with the US, it pulled out apparently on the insistence of Washington, which has strained relations with both Iran and Russia.
Now, India has expressed its keenness in preliminary discussions on the offshore pipeline, but it is believed that the US will again heap pressure to force Delhi to stay away from its rivals.
Russia has been a big gas exporter to EU countries and Turkey since long and despite US anger the European bloc has continued to make imports to meet its domestic needs.
